Hertha BSC captain Fabian Reese has cast doubt on his future with the club. After the 0-1 defeat to Holstein Kiel at the weekend, the Berliners have given up their chances of promotion to the Bundesliga. "I'm extremely disappointed with tonight's game", said Reese in a post-match interview. "We'll see what happens in the summer", he added, fuelling speculation about his future with the capital club. Reese's agent, Dusan Jevtic, recently confirmed interest from Bundesliga clubs in his client. "It is true that there are several interested parties from the Bundesliga. I don't want to say more than that. Hertha are in a very important phase. There is no need to create unrest", Jevtic told Bild. It has been suggested that a fee in the region of €10-13 million could convince Hertha to sell their captain. VfL Wolfsburg have recently been mentioned as potential suitors. However, Die Wölfe are currently not even certain of playing in the Bundesliga next season themselves, sitting 17th with three games remaining.
