Hertha BSC is promoting four top talents to the pros. After the failed promotion dream, the team is rejuvenating itself in the upcoming season.

Who are the four talents?

The four young players that head coach Stefan Leitl will shape into full-fledged professionals are central striker Niklas Hildebrandt, right winger Jelani Ndi, central midfielder Soufian Gouram, and defensive midfielder Selim Telib.

What can the talents do?

Niklas Hildebrandt is a powerful striker with a height of 1.90 meters and good heading ability. Jelani Ndi is a lightning-fast winger with a lot of goal-scoring potential. Soufian Gouram is a fine technician with a good eye for passes into depth. Selim Telib is a pass-secure and physically robust box-to-box player.

What's next?

Behind the quartet are two top talents waiting in the wings: playmaker Kian Todorovic and U17 captain Jerome Diallo. Head coach Leitl has the duo in his sights. Already firmly in professional training are right-back Janne Berner, midfielder Boris Lum, and goalkeepers Tim Goller and Konstantin Heide.
