Hertha BSC is using sports psychology to optimize player performance. For a week now, Hertha has been conducting what is known as performance diagnostics. Coach Stefan Leitl brings in sports psychologist Paula Isringhausen to identify mental strengths and weaknesses.

Performance diagnostics is a procedure to objectively measure the current state of health and fitness. Additionally, psychological tests are conducted.

How does sports psychology work at Hertha BSC?

Sports psychologist Paula Isringhausen accompanies the entire season, coaching staff, players, and employees. She conducts tests to get to know the players better. Individual motives can be addressed, weaknesses reduced through individual coaching.
